It's nearly Polish Pickup time again which means I have a handful of upcoming items from the October shop to share today. I have items from Baroness X, Moon Shine Mani, Scofflaw Nail Varnish, and Top Shelf Lacquer. This shop seems to have a lot of greens this time around, and I'm honestly not mad about it. The only thing that could possibly be better is a "green" Polish Pickup theme... you know, a girl can dream!
Baroness X - Acetone Antidote "PSL of Doom"
Baroness X is back with another wonderful seasonal Acetone Antidote scent. For the October Polish Pickup you can purchase this in the PSL of Doom scent. This was inspired by the Food Babe myth started in 2014 that PSL are toxic.
Mix one vial of Acetone Antidote with 6-8oz of acetone and shake well before each use. This additive makes the use of acetone less harsh on your skin and nails thanks to the moisturizers in each vial. Read a more in-depth review of Acetone Antidote here.
Scent: a mix of pumpkin spice (of course), marshmallows, a mix of whipped cream/french vanilla/caramel, a light latte/coffee scent will come through on finish

Baroness X - The Dark Side of Oz
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: dark (almost black) forest green tri-thermal that shifts to a medium green (warm) and then a lighter celery green color (hot). It has large particle holo sprinkled throughout and a rainbow of iridescent flakes
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12.50
Notes: This polish was inspired by the urban legend that says if you play Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album while watching “The Wizard of Oz,” there's an incredible synchronicity. There is no cap on this color
Top Shelf Lacquer - Beer before liquor, Never sicker... Liquor before beer, Have no Fear!
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Neon coral base color and is loaded with multiple colors of shifting iridescent flakes and aurora pigment
Coverage: 2 coats

Moon Shine Mani - Gators Beneath the City
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Slinky silvered-green shimmer filled with fuchsia/purple/green multichrome flakes
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12
Notes: There is no cap on this color. You can build this up to coverage or wear it over any other color as a topper
Scofflaw Nail Varnish - Greetings From The Bermuda Triangle
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Minty-blue crelly base, with glitters in aquamarine, turquoise, copper, orange, and white...and finished off with an aqua shimmer
Coverage: 2 coats
