Castles in the Air started out as Reverie Nail Lacquer's second batch of Daydream, but ended up becoming an "oops" batch because she used extra pink shimmer. I think the "oops" made it extra special.

Sally Hansen's Pearl Crush collection features eight iridescent shades that will transform any creme into a shifty, magical color. I have three colors from the collection to share with you today.

Sally Hansen Insta-Ombre Review Press Sample

Sally Hansen's Insta-Ombre collection features tiny glitters used to create a glitter gradient. The name can be a little confusing because ombre refers to colors fading from light to dark, rather than a gradual increase in frequency.

The bottle states that it should be applied to the nail in three coats. The first covers the whole nail, the second covers the bottom two thirds, and the third covers the last third of your nail. I used this application for all three manis.

I've learned many lessons about leaving colors in your untried pile for too long. The first lesson was that polish can separate to the point where it will take you hours to shake it back together again. The hardest lesson I learned was that sometimes indie brands go out of business. This post combined both lessons into one.

Hare Polish released this blue shortly after the start of Better Call Saul. If you aren't familiar with the reference, I recommend watching the show. The show is pretty entertaining, and this polish gave me a good chuckle when it was released.

I don't usually pair blue and green together, but I had the perfect (untried) glitter topper to tie them together. In case you didn't know, glitter is magical.

I've said it several times before, but my friend Shelby is an absolute doll! In one of the packages she sent me, she included Jindie Nails Just Say Glow. Needless to say I've added a ton of Jindie colors to my wishlist.


Just Say Glow is a metallic peach to copper color with gold glitter. The formula was easy to work with, and built up to full coverage with three coats.

This multi chrome flakie craze has me by the heartstrings. After a few attempts at restocks I finally got my hands on this beauty. Multi chrome flakies are pretty as a top coat, but I love when they are part of a creme.

Water marbling is hard. Either you get it, or you don't. I personally still haven't mastered the technique, so I thought I would try another water marble alternative known as the decal method.

The prep for it is essentially the same as a water marble. The main difference is that you let your marble dry on top of the water before applying it to your nails. I'm not going to go into the technique, but here's a tutorial.

I seriously have the best friends. Knowing how obsessed I am with Game of Thrones, one of my dear friends picked up this gem for me. If for some crazy reason you don't watch GoT, Jon Snow is known as a likeable underdog. He develops an extremely complicated relationship with a wildling who constantly exclaims "You Know Nothing Jon Snow!" You are pretty much caught up unless you want a ton of spoilers.

Baroness X Tropic Heat Review- Press Sample

With all the neons out there it's easy to get lost in a sea of sameness. Baroness X is breaking the mold with her Tropic Heat collection. She took a different approach by creating neon jelly thermals packed with flakies.
