Finger Lickin' Lacquer Flick of the Wrist Collection Pt 1
Monday, December 29, 2014When I learned that Finger Lickin' Lacquer was coming out with a Queen themed collection I got pretty excited. There was a time where all I would listen to is classic rock. This rubbed off onto my younger brother, and resulted in hearing Queen's Greatest Hits album played on repeat at full volume for months. He finally put other artists into the rotation, but I will never forget that album.
The Night Comes Down
The Night Comes Down is a deep blue crelly with silver glitter to resemble stars. This rich blue crelly reaches full coverage with two coats.
Made in Heaven
Made in Heaven is a yellow crelly with white and silver glitters. It was inspired by Freddie's iconic yellow jacket worn on the A Kind of Magic tour. The crelly has a slight pearlescence which can cause a little drag if you don't allow it to dry long enough. It wasn't a problem at all, just something worth noting. I was able to reach nearly full coverage with three coats.
Break Free
Break Free is a black crelly filled with pink squares of various sizes. The inspiration came from Freddie's outfit in the I Want to Break Free music video. I love the contrast in this color! The formula was a nice consistency. I found that three coats provided nice coverage.
The Flick of the Wrist collection is currently available through Finger Lickin' Lacquer's Etsy store. Stay tuned for swatches of the rest of the collection later this week!

Interesting color these are. None of them are standing out to me in particular though.
