Hi all! I hope your week is wonderful so far. I have a delightful package from Sally Hansen to share with you all today. I had the opportunity to try out their brand new Insta-Dri Matte line, The Hard As Nails Vitamin Strength Serum, and the No More Stains Spray On Base Coat. I didn't take photos of the base coat or nail serum because they are best explained with video. If you are interested in those, I demo and discuss them in more depth in the video at the end of this post.
Burnished Wine
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte berry to bronze duochrome with holographic glitter
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This was my favorite color from the bunch because it's both a duochrome and holographic polish. I do recommend picking this one up asap because it's so rare to find both qualities in a mainstream polish.
Gold Rush
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte gold metallic
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I've never been terribly fond of metallics because they tend to be so streaky, but I LOVE this entire collection. If you use thin coats to apply your polish you can almost entirely avoid streaks.
Molten Mauve
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte mauve metallic nail polish
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I love how this one appears dry! I can totally see myself using this for a bunch of fall/winter manis. It's also a nice twist on mauve. I think this is totally business appropriate without being boring.
Rose Flush
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte rose gold metallic nail polish
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Rose gold is still so hot right now! Of all the rose golds in my collection, this one is definitely the star!
Smokey Silver
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte silver metallic nail polish
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: After wearing Smokey Silver I really can't see myself going back to wearing regular silver nail polish.
Smoldering Teal
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Matte teal metallic
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Can we just take a moment to appreciate how pretty this is? Its the shade of teal I always wanted but was never able to enjoy because it was always streaky. This is perfection!
