Zoya Darling Spring 2021 Nail Art - Press sample

Hi all! Normally I would be sharing swatches of the latest Zoya collection, but I put it to a vote on Instagram and there was an overwhelming response for nail art. Since this collection has been out for a little while I decided to run with it! Today I have two brand new nail art looks using the Zoya Darling Collection. These were done using a double ended dotting tool and nothing more. Both looks utilize negative space because I've always found those looks to feel fresh, and spring like.

For this look I layered (in order) Joyce, Ella, and Tweedy in floral shaped blobs working from largest to progressively smaller. When layering colors like this it's important to allow ample time for each color to dry to avoid smearing and dragging. For the final touch I added three dots of Mara to the middle of each flower. I topped this with a quick dry top coat to seal the look.

Gradient Clouds

These gradient clouds are my personal favorite because they look so fluffy and ethereal. This was incredibly simple to do, so I hope you all will give it a try! The top group of clouds was done using Mara, the middle uses Kayleigh, and the bottom is Val. For this look you select a small bead of nail polish with a dotting tool (or bobby pin tip) and gently make fluffy circle like motions to tease out a wispy cloud. This look is so forgiving because clouds come in all shapes and sizes!

The Zoya Darling Collection for Spring 2021 is currently available on their website. Individual colors retail for $10 and the full set retails for $60.
