We are half way through the week! Here's some sparkly stuff to keep you going:
Eerie-descence
Eerie-descence is a shifty glitter topper in a tinted black base. It could be worn alone, or over a darker color. My swatches show one coat over black. The top photo shows it with a top coat, while the bottom shows it with a matte top coat.
Opulent Oddity
Opulent Oddity is a iridescent glitter top coat. The top two photos show one coat over white, and the bottom two are over black. The second and fourth photo show how it would appear matte.
Leather & Lace
Leather & Lace is a charcoal to white thermal with black circle and bar glitter. The top photo displays the cold state, while the bottom photo shows the warm state. I used two coats for my swatches.
Of all the colors, I think Opulent Oddity is my favorite. I've always been attracted to iridescent glitter. What color did you like best?

Now that it's finally spring I figured it was time to share this adorable group custom by Finger Lickin' Lacquer. This was made for a group of polish lovers on Reddit.
The pictures show two coats of Bby Chickens with one coat of Poshe. I topped it all off with three cute glitter stars. This was meant to be unscented, but I asked Jennifer if she would add a marshmallow scent. The color plus the scent reminds me of Peeps.
While this color isn't currently available, Jennifer might be able to make it as a custom.
Water marbles and I still don't get along, so I was really excited when Kendahl suggested we try a dry marble. We used the technique shown here.
For not being a true water marble, I sure love it! There are so many advantages to dry marbling that I don't even know where to start. It's far less messy, and still gives you a decent amount of color manipulation. You don't have to worry about random bubbles, or accidentally ending up with a double layer marble. It also took less than half the time to complete. That's a win in my book!
Products used:
- Octopus Party Nail Lacquer- Laguna Bleach
- Model City Polish- Coral Reef
- Sinful Colors- Happy Ending
- Orly- Bonder
- Poshe- Top Coat
- toothpicks
How do you feel about water marbles? Are they more work than they are worth?
Be sure to visit Kendahl here, and let her know what you think!
Here's part two as promised. If you missed part one you can find it here.
A Crown Well Deserved
"A Crown Well Deserved is an incredibly sparkly gold holo glitter topper, inspired by a character who doesn't know when to shut his mouth and gets gilded because of it. Varying sizes of glitter make this topper scream from your fingertips. Layer it up for a full coverage crown for your nails!"
All photos show one coat with a second coat on the ring finger. From top to bottom A Crown Well Deserved is swatched over Poison Fit for a King, How to Kill a Mountain, and Titties & Dragons. The formula is a nice consistency that should build up to full coverage with three coats.
Can Your Sword Cut Cold?
"Can Your Sword Cut Cold? Imagine with me a creature who is stuck somewhere between life and death; traversing the mountainside capturing souls as it goes, and turning them into zombie-like creatures with ice cold stares. This polish embodies that creature. It's a milky blue creme with bright blue glitters, and it glows blue in the dark."
My swatches show this in several different lighting scenarios to try to capture how pretty the blue shimmer is. The formula is a nice consistency that provides nearly full coverage with three coats. The final photo shows how incredible the glow is after a few minutes in the sun.
Water Black as Night
"Water Black as Night is inspired by an incredible potion; extremely dangerous and absolutely terrible, but incredible. It's a bright green crelly scattered with different types of green glitters, and it glows in the dark. Almost like fire, if fire were green. Note: drinking this polish will NOT turn you into a dragon."
This polish really glows regardless of what lighting you are in. The formula is a nice consistency that reaches full coverage with two thin coats.
If I had to pick a favorite it would be a three-way tie between Water Black as Night, Can Your Sword Cut Cold?, and Titties & Dragons. What color were you most drawn to?
The Everyone I Love Is Dead collection will be available on Thursday, April 2nd at 6pm MST.
