Philly Loves Lacquer- Seeing Isn't Believing Collection Part 2
Indie Polish Wednesday, November 26, 2014
Here's part two of the Ella Ann Cosmetics exclusive:
Update: I spoke with Esther of Philly Loves Lacquer about the quality control issues I had mentioned in these posts. I agreed to update my posts to state that Esther reassured me that her products would arrive without pigment chunks. Esther told me that she would send out replacement polish that had not been rushed out. I received that update on November 26th, 2014.
As of December 14th, 2014 I had not received replacement bottles. With the craziness of the season I assumed it had been due to USPS package issues. I contacted Esther to make sure I hadn't missed the package, and was informed that she was so busy from her Thanksgiving sales that she forgot about it. I was then promised that it would be sent out that week. Today is January 1st, 2015, and I have not received any further correspondence from Esther or Philly Loves Lacquer. I am personally a bit wary of ordering anything from her in the future.

Esther has personally reached out to me regarding this post. I will update you if the situation changes.
S.C.
S.C. is a red holo. The formula was an ok consistency, but I encountered a few clumps. The clumps were small enough that I was able to swipe them off of the nail before taking photos. The swatches above show two coats with no base color.
Hey Barabbas!
Hey Barabbas is a light blue holo. The formula has a nice consistency. I was able to achieve full coverage with three coats.
Believing Is Seeing
Believing Is Seeing is a silver and holographic top coat. The formula was a smidge thick, but I had no issues applying it. I used one coat over Hey Barabbas and four coats on the ring finger. As you can see, it isn't fully opaque on the ring finger, but it provides great coverage on its own.
I love the colors in this collection, but I can't speak on the quality of the formulas. I contacted Philly Loves Lacquer as soon as I finished swatching to let her know about the pigment chunks. She told me that it happened because she was in a rush to get blogger packs out. Esther, the maker of PLL, reassured me that the final product will not have formula issues.
