Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Clarity

One of the things I founded this blog on was honesty. I was sick of hearing bloggers sing the praises of beauty products that sucked. There's really nothing worse than hearing positive reviews about something, saving your hard earned cash, and then finding out that the product you were pining after is garbage. Every once in a while I run into a major hiccup with a product. Today's post is an example of one of those times.
I picked up Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Clarity at Cosmoprof Las Vegas last year. One of the true tests of a brand is how well they make a white polish, so I thought it would be a great pick. White polish can be tricky but I rarely run into a product so bad that I have to toss it. Unfortunately that was the case with Clarity. As you can see from my images, it doesn't self level at all.
Clarity was said to be five-free (no dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde, toluene, formaldehyde resin, or camphor) and the website ingredients list confirms this. While I cannot confirm this to be untrue, this was one of the strongest smelling nail polishes I've ever owned. As someone who has owned over 3000 nail polishes, and maintains a stash over 1000 shades, I have a hard time believing that this is even 3-free.
Be A Bombshell Clarity was one of the biggest let-downs I've encountered in a long time. I set reasonable expectations, and this shade didn't even meet them. Would I try another Be A Bombshell nail polish? Not likely.
