It's day five of the 31dc2017 challenge and things are still plugging along. I'm going to have to admit to cheating a little bit with this one since my swatches of Baroness X Niseag happened well before I knew I was joining the challenge. I have such a backlog of swatches that I wanted to see if any of them would fit the challenge criteria. While most of them didn't, the Baroness X July Monthly Mythical Mystery happened to fit the bill.
This post is going to be a combo post. I'm going to start with a review of the Baroness July MMM inspired by Niseag (aka Nessie, or the Loch Ness Monster), and then I'm going to finish up with a quick nail art look.
I've always been fascinated with the Loch Ness Monster since I was a child, so I was elated to discover that Baroness X was going to use it as inspiration for an MMM.
The July MMM included one polish named Niseag and one Acetone Antidote in scent "Loch". The Acetone Antidote scent is described as scents of bamboo, calamondin, kumquat, jasmine & mint. It's a clean, fresh scent overall.
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Deep blue to rich green multichrome with holo micro glitter.
Coverage: 2 coats

I wanted to do some nail art with Baroness X Niseag but I didn't want it to take away from the shifty nature of the polish. I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out.
