Today's #31dc2017 is supposed to be inspired by a book. I decided to go with Gary Paulsen's Hatchet for this look since it was one of my favorite books as a kid. This art was directly inspired by the cover art of the old copy I used to have.
For this look I started with a base of Bliss Polish Too Yacht For You and worked different colors of acrylic paint over the top. It's not quite where I hoped it would be, but I wasn't going to spend hours on it only to take it off in less than 24 hours.
