If you've been with me for a while you might remember my post featuring the Satsuma Guava Aloe x Shea moisturizer. This is a new and improved formula, with a brand new scent! The Butters Hygienics Bad n' Bougie Blackberry Bordeaux is described as blackberry, chassis, dark cherry, vanilla, bourbon and coffee bean. I personally get sweet notes of blackberry and dark cherry, and some woody/smoky notes from the bourbon. It's a really complex scent profile that is best described as upscale.

Just like all of the other products featured, the Bad n' Bougie Blackberry Bordeaux Aloe x Shea Moisturizer is clearly labeled with a batch number and a best by date. This is really nice to see as a consumer because it lets us know that products are being tracked for freshness.

I love a good moisturizer and this does not disappoint! I find this to be most impactful when used in one of two ways. My first recommendation is to apply immediately after toweling off post shower. This allows you to trap that moisture in your skin while creating a barrier from dry air. The second way I like using this is an hour or two after applying a light lotion. Allow the light lotion to fully soak in and then apply a light layer of Bad n' Bougie Blackberry Bordeaux moisturizer over the top for maximum moisturizing. The first method is preferred for everyday use, while the second is great for when your skin may need extra help adjusting to harsh weather.

I found this to be on the heavy side as a moisturizer, which shouldn't be surprising based on the ingredients list.
