Hey guys! I'm back after a brief break. I've been working on a handful of 6+ piece collections in addition to trying my hand at making sourdough from scratch. It's been quite a busy week to say the least. Today's post features the new, limited edition Beauty and the Beast collection by Morgan Taylor. This gorgeous seven piece collection was released in celebration of the upcoming Beauty and the Beast live action film. Let's check it out!

Potts of Tea
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Alabaster creme with pink shimmer
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: If you needed a reason to love white this is it. The formula is super smooth with zero streaking. If you catch it in the right light you can see this pretty pink shimmer.
Days In The Sun
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Yellow creme with pink/orange shimmer
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: I'm not normally a yellow person, but the pink/orange shimmer in this is stunning. It's similar to Potts of Tea, but I had a hard time capturing it on camera. The shimmer shows up best in indirect lighting.
Plumette With Excitement
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Pale pink creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This pretty pink creme is one of those shades that I think would look great on everyone.
Gaston And On And On
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Baby blue creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: Baby blues can be really hit or miss for me. This one is a hit. It's not so soft that is screams "baby room", which is why I like it.
Be Our Guest
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Pink creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This pink is classic, which makes it so perfect for this collection.
The Last Petal
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Red pearl
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This red pearl is such a good tribute to one of the most iconic scenes of the movie. I think it would be great for some rose themed nail art.
Enchanted Patina
Formula: Nice consistency, but a bit streaky overall.
Finish: Patina overlay coat
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This is a special release polish that is only available through the Morgan Taylor website. It's listed as a single coat top coat, but I found it too streaky to wear over other colors.
