It's been a while since I've featured a new indie on the blog. Today I get to share Rogue Lacquer's very first collection. While Rogue Lacquer is new, the brains behind the operation should be very familiar to most of you. Rogue Lacquer is owned by Rachel, formerly half of the Ever After Polish duo. I'm so excited to be sharing her latest journey into indies with you!
Rogue Lacquer's first collection is the Spring Punk collection. This is a four piece collection packed with shimmer and holo.
Blowing Off Steam
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Blue gray steel cream with silver fleck, holo and blue shimmer
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $10
Notes: Blowing Off Steam is a really unique shade. I think the macro does a good job showing off the tiny particles.
Grinds My Gears
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Metallic bronzed gold with crimson shimmer and micro holo glitter and holo sparkle
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $10
Notes: I adore the shimmer in this shade. It's warm and really complements the bronze.
Steam Punk Fantasy
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A dreamy soft lavender holo with intense copper shimmer
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $10
Notes: I love catching the shimmer in Steam Punk Fantasy. It's so delicate and sweet.
Retro Future
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Minty seafoam with copper, silver bronze and gold chrome flakes with turquoise sparkle and a soft linear flame
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $10
Notes: Retro Future was my favorite from this collection. I love the contrasting flakies in this dusty crelly.
Just Peachy
Scent: A fruit blend of fresh peach, tangerine, and grapefruit
Cold sniff: Fresh peach with assorted citrus
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room
Warmer used: Better Homes & Gardens Pumpkin - 25 watt lightbulb
Amount used: About .33oz
Price: $5 per 4oz pack or $8 for an 8oz pack
Would I repurchase: Yes

Notes: I'm not a huge fan of peach, but this was a perfect blend between peach and citrus. I could totally see myself needing a loaf of this!
Private Beach
Scent: Blackberry, sand, sea spray, magnolia, and jasmine with notes of mandarin
Cold sniff: Floral meets fruity
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room
Warmer used: Better Homes & Gardens Pumpkin - 25 watt lightbulb
Amount used: About .5oz
Price: $13 per loaf (13.5-15oz)
Would I repurchase: Yes
Would I repurchase: Yes
Notes: This is fresh and fruity all at the same time. I could totally see this being a nice light perfume.

The Rogue Lacquer Spring Punk collection will be available on Sunday, April 15th at 7pm pacific. Polishes can be purchased individually for $10 each, or as a set for $38. There will be a free mystery polish for the first 30 orders of $20 or more.
