Black Chrome Powder Nails & Distressed Foils feat. Born Pretty Store

Hi guys! Today's post features two different looks using new (to me) items from the Born Pretty Store. The first look is black chrome powder, and the second features distressed nail foils.
Black Chrome Powder
For this look I started with Morgan Taylor Little Black Dress. Once that dried I topped it with foil glue. I heard that foil glue can be used to adhere powder if you don't use gels, so I thought I would give it a try.
The trick with foil glue is to wait for it to fully dry, and then gently pat the powder into place. Once you have a good coverage you can gently polish the powder into your nail. I tried a few different techniques, but I found that I preferred using my finger for application. I felt as though that gave me better control over pressure and direction.
Once my powder was set I brushed off the excess and topped it with a water based clear coat followed by a quick dry top coat. It's not a perfect application, but not bad for my first chrome powder attempt.
