Sally Hansen Color Therapy Swatches - Press sample

Hi all! I'm back with new items from the Sally Hansen Color Therapy line. Before we dive into photos I wanted to share a little bit about the Color Therapy line. All items in this line contain argan oil which is said to nourish and moisturize nails. They also suggest that your mani could wear for up to 10 days while being fade-proof and chip resistant. While I have not had the opportunity to wear a mani for ten days in a while, this sounds like an ideal situation! As always you can find live application swatches over on my YouTube.

For this look I'm simply wearing two coats of the Color Therapy Nail Corrector. It offers a sheer coverage that creates a nice soft finish. I wrapped up this look with the Color Therapy Cuticle Serum around my cuticles and sidewalls to ensure a nice, moisturized finish. I'll be honest, I've never been wild about sheer manis, but I really enjoyed the simplicity of this look!

For this next look I started out with one coat of the Color Therapy Primer. This smooths out any blemishes or pits your many have in your nails. It's not a miracle worker, but it does a nice job of mellowing things out a bit. Once that had a chance to dry I followed up with two coats of Color Therapy Bare Kiss. This is the important step! Wait for your color to dry entirely. If you choose to jump the wait time you will end up smearing that sheer color and potentially seeing bare nail. Once your color is dry to the touch (anywhere from 5 min to 30 min) you can follow up with a top coat. For this look I used the Color Therapy High Gloss Top Coat.

For this final (and favorite) look I started with one coat of the Color Therapy Strengthening Base coat. I followed this up with two coats of Give Me A Tint (seriously gorgeous!). After waiting an appropriate amount of time (maybe 10 min in my case) I topped it all off with the Color Therapy Strengthening Top Coat. Was that overkill with strengthening products? I honestly don't know, but I didn't see any warning to discontinue the use of these strengthening products after two weeks, so I'm betting it's a non-issue.

Sally Hansen Color Therapy products are currently available through their website and in select retailers.
