Summer Cactus Smoosh feat. Born Pretty Store & Morgan Taylor

Hi there! I hope you are having a great week so far! I've been experiencing a bit of burnout, so instead of taking a formal blog break I'm going to dial back the number of posts per week for a little bit. Summer always seems to pull my attention outside, so I think it will be a good change for now. What does this mean for the blog? Likely fewer individual swatch posts. My goal is to post swatches plus nail art in one post instead of spreading them out over a week or two. This will let me spend more time being social with you guys over on Instagram (which is one of my favorite parts of blogging).
Today's post is a tribute to summer. I've been expanding my cactus and succulent collection, so it only felt right to do some bright cactus nails.
My cactus look uses the brand new Born Pretty Store Dual-ended gradient stamper sponge (id = 42495). I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about a reusable sponge, so I thought I would give it a try.
The cute little stamper end didn't hurt matters either.
Without going into crazy detail, I can say that I'm quite pleased with how the sponge works and cleans up. Do note that it takes a significant amount of acetone to clean up highly pigmented colors, but I like not tossing out makeup sponges regularly.
Once that had time to dry I used the stamper end of the Born Pretty Store Dual-ended gradient stamper to pick out individual cactus images from MoYou London - Hipster Collection 18.
After that had time to dry I topped it all off with B Polished Make it Satin.
