Welcome back! I told you it was going to be a busy week and I wasn't kidding! Today's post features the Great Lakes Lacquer Destination Dreaming Collection, a 24 hour Black Friday limited edition polish, and all sale/launch info for the day. It's a lot of reading but I promise it's worth it!
Destination: Nepal
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A greige filled with holo microflake and glowing shimmer that shifts from copper to brnoze to green
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12
Notes: Neutrals are my favorite, but even more so when they have special shimmer. I absolutely adore the rainbow shimmer in Destination: Nepal.
Destination: Serengeti
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A midnight blurple that shifts to blue with a shimmery shift from purple to bronze to gold to green
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $12
Notes: There's something just mysterious about Destination: Serengeti. I love the rich base paired with the shifting shimmer. It's a nice contrast at any angle!
Destination: Hawaii
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A fuchsia purple filled with holo microflake, blue to purple shifting iridescent flake, glowing with shifting blue to purple to orange shimmer
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12
Notes: Destination: Hawaii has a nice, sharp transition from purple to fuchsia. If you look at the swatch photo above it's most prevalent in that image.
Destination: Machu Picchu
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Jade filled with shimmery shifts of green, gold, and purple/red
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12
Notes: Destination: Machu Picchu has more of a gold shimmer in bright light, but it transforms into more of a purple/red shimmer in low light. The final image above shows the low light version.
Destination: Bali
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Turquoise blue filled with holo micro flake and shimmery shifts of aqua and sapphire with a purple glow
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $12
Notes: Destination: Bali's shift is most dramatic in lighting that creates dark shadows. Under my photo lights it appears to glow, but under my gym lights (maybe daylight fluorescent bulbs?) the shift between aqua and sapphire puts on a real show.
Destination: Hitsujiyama Park
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A fuchsia pink foil with sparks of pink, gold and orange

Finish: Light, frozen blue filled iwth red to bronze to gold multichrome flake and shimmery red to copper to green shimmer
