Monday, March 30, 2020Polish Pickup | April 2020 - Press sample
It's almost time for the April Polish Pickup shop and I have a TON of swatches to share with you! This month's theme is aquatic wonder. As always you can find live application swatches over on my YouTube channel. If you enjoy the video content please subscribe to keep up to date with all the new releases.
Moon Shine Mani - L Pod
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: tri-thermal shifting through dark gray, light gray, and peach mauve and filled with micro holo flakies, sparkling platinum flakies, and red/gold/green shifting chameleon flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $12
Notes: This polish is inspired by baby orcas, which are born with a peach coloration which turns to white and black during their first year of life. I had difficulty getting this color to transform to peach which is why I don't have photos of that state. We think my package froze in transit, as I was one of the few swatchers that had issues with this color.
Scofflaw Nail Varnish - Purrmaid
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: An aqua crelly base, with sea blue sparkles and white flecks, and full of bubble-shaped matte glitters in various shades of blue and white.
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $12.50
Notes: There is no cap on this color
Starlight Polish - Myths, Magic, and Wonders
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: A blend of holographic elements (pigment, micro flakes, and clear holo glitter), with a mix of green to blue and teal to violet UP sibling pigments
Coverage: 1 coat over Zoya Vesper
Price: $15
Notes: This has a cap of 225 on the US site and 25 on the UK site.
Starlight Polish - Sea Sapphires
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Blue to purple UP sibling pigment with iridescent aurora flakes which shift from red to green, pink to green, green to blue, purple to blue, and blue to violet.
Coverage: 1 coat over Zoya Elliot
Price: $13.50
Notes: Sea sapphires are tiny crustaceans, just a few millimeters long, and they look like tiny living opals, and they are too magical and glorious not to be a polish during Aquatic Wonders month! There is a cap of 225 bottles US, 25 bottles UK
Top Shelf Lacquer - Long Lost City of Atlantis
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: beige base color with a gold to green shimmer and loaded with chrome flakes in the colors of gold, green, orange, and blue
