Happy Friday all! I'm back with fun new things from Great Lakes Lacquer today. Before we dive in to swatches I want to urge you to read all of the info in this post, especially the notes section. Two of the releases in this post (Bubble Pop and Flash Your Fins) are special colors that are restricted to certain fan groups. Anyone can purchase these colors IF they are willing to join the fan groups. Those will be linked under each group of swatches so they are easy to find. With that out of the way, let's dive in to those swatches!

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: black jelly base featuring a green to magenta to purple multichrome magnetic, blue to purple iridescent flake, electric blue microflake and scattered holographic

Finish: a delicate creamy white glowing through turquoise, pink, orange, and gold with some green at the far edge

Great Lakes Lacquer and Quintessential Nails teamed up and created a duo inspired by Animal Crossing. The duo includes the Quintessential Nails Head To Toe Whipped Body Butter in Expand The Horizon scent and Great Lakes Lacquer Wandering. The Great Lakes Lacquer Quintessential Nails Animal Crossing Duo retails for $18 plus shipping. This duo will be available from Saturday, September 12th through the end of the month. 

Quintessential Nails Expand The Horizon Whipped Body Butter

The Quintessential Nails Head to Toe Whipped Body Butter is a whipped shea butter base blended with their house recipe of coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, safflower oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, Argan oil and extra virgin olive oil. This hydrating formula makes it fantastic for head to toe hydration.

Expand Your Horizon is a tropical twist of coconut milk and cool vanilla that's the perfect summer escape no matter the time of year. I found the body butter to be nicely scented without being overpowering. This scent is a collab exclusive!

I'm sorry I don't have one of those photos showing the body butter texture on my fingertips. My hands are pretty gnarly from summer gardening and powerlifting. It really wouldn't have made for a pretty photo at all. That said, this does have a nice texture.

Ingredients and a packaging date can be found at the bottom of every jar. I really like when brands do this so that I can keep track of what needs to be used first.

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Ocean blue overflowing with iridescent flakes that reflects colors of the setting sun; purple, pink, red, orange, and green.  Finished with a scattered holographic for that perfect sparkle.
Coverage: 3 coats
