Finger Lickin' Lacquer Flick of the Wrist Collection Pt 3
Friday, January 02, 2015I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the new year! This is the third and final installment of the Flick of the Wrist collection. Check out part one and part two if you missed them.
On With the Show
On With the Show is an oxblood holo polish inspired by the curtains on a stage and the some "On With the Show". I was really pleased with the pigmentation of this formula. Some people label colors "oxblood" but they are more of a rusty, orange-red. The polish had a nice consistency that reached full coverage with three coats.
From Mars to Mercury
From Mars to Mercury is a black polish with pigment that shifts from red to purple to blue. It's so shifty that it would make a great base for galaxy nails. The formula was a nice consistency and reached full coverage with three coats. This is my other favorite color in the collection. There's something wonderful about shifting pigments.
God Save the Queen
God Save the Queen is a blurple holo polish inspired by the color of royalty. The holo pigment tends to be more noticeable in natural lighting. The swatches above show three coats.
Black Queen White Queen
Black Queen White Queen is a white crelly thermal packed with black and iridescent glitter. It shifts to dark gray in cold temperatures. If any of you know me in real life, you are well aware that I'm almost always cold unless it's summertime. I couldn't seem to warm my hands up enough to get swatches of this in its warm state. If you compare it to the bottle, and the close up you can see the difference between each state. The formula was a nice consistency, and reached full coverage with three coats.
The Flick of the Wrist collection is currently available through Finger Lickin' Lacquer's Etsy store.
