Starlight Polish Phoenix Feathers

As of right now it's after noon, and I'm drinking room temp coffee trying to figure out what to say about this color. My first thought is that room temp coffee leaves a lot to be desired.

Starlight Polish Phoenix Feathers

Phoenix Feathers is one of those colors that absolutely needs to be photographed in different lighting in order to get a feel for the polish. It shifts between burgundy and red with a lovely red shimmer.

Formula-wise I had a few issues. Phoenix Feathers (just like Dragon Scales) got gummy around the inside of the bottle. I had to shake it up in between each nail otherwise the gunk ended up on the brush. The odd part is that the formula itself didn't seem thick despite the build up around the neck. It took three coats to reach full coverage. Considering the fact that I had to shake the bottle in between each nail I was pretty disappointed about that part.

Phoenix Feathers is gorgeous, and while the formula wasn't perfect I still enjoyed it.
