It's the day before Thanksgiving and I might be having a minor freak out right now. There's so much pressure to cook everything perfectly that I'm stressed out before things have even begun. Instead of letting my mind linger on that for too long, I wanted to share this incredible trio with you guys.
The Lou It Yourself Holiday Trio is a festive set of polishes that are wonderful for winter, but aren't necessarily bound to the season. I like that none of the shades give you that typical "Christmas" feeling that gets joked about outside of winter. While I do enjoy seasonal polish, I prefer shades that I can wear year round, which is why this trio is perfect.

Jingle McKringleberry
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Red holo with multichrome flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This shade is so berry delightful I can't stand it. Bad pun? Sorry, not sorry. I'm a huge fan of mixed textures, so the holo + flakie combo is always a winner.
A Serious Case of Tinsellitis
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Platinum holo with holo flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Holy holo! In artificial light, A Serious Case of Tinsellitis appears more platinum-like, but it sunshine or low light the holo comes out to play. The sunshine statement is only an assumption, because as an Oregonian I don't remember what that looks like.
Hot Crocolate
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Green holo with flakies and gold shimmer
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Do you see that gold shimmer?! If you don't already have your holy grail green, do yourself a favor and pick this one up. You won't regret it!
