I know it still feels like winter out there but I hear spring is on the way? I'm going to keep hoping for warmer weather, but in the meantime let's check out the brand new Morgan Taylor The Color of Petals collection.
Follow The Petals
Formula: Nice consistency, but dries streaky
Finish: Frosty pink pearl
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $9.50
Notes: I'll be honest, I don't reach for these frosty colors at all anymore. I like the idea of them, but I personally don't enjoy the streaky finish. If you love frosty finishes but despise the streaks, you can always sponge on your final coat of polish.
I Feel Flower-ful
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Light, pink leaning neutral creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9.50
Notes: This is a really nice, light pink creme. I can totally see why this is part of the collection. This is nice on its own, or would look great as a base for nail art.
Merci Bouquet
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Lilac creme
Coverage: 1 coat
Price: $9.50
Notes: Merci Bouquet is my favorite color from this collection. It's a nice, dusty shade of lilac that I just adore!
Strike A Posie
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Blush pink creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $9.50
Notes: Strike A Posie is a nice, delicate shade of pink. I think this is a nice, work appropriate color.
Young, Wild & Free-sia
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Soft peach creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Price: $9.50
Notes: Young, Wild, & Free-sia is a really nice shade of peach. I think it really compliments the collection well.
