Wednesday, August 27, 2014When I think of decadence, my first thought is gold, silver and an incredible shine. If it doesn't sparkle, it certainly doesn't fit the category. The idea behind the Gold Crush Duo was to create a true gold duo that exemplifies every sense of luxury. I think Dave did a wonderful job doing just that.
The duo consists of Gold Vibrations; a gold linear holo, and Glow for the Gold; a holographic gold topper. To me, this duo represents old money, think class and elegance. Old money is tastefully extravagant without going over the top.
Gold Vibrations
Gold Vibrations is a true gold linear holo. The formula is ultra smooth and requires two to three coats for full coverage.
As if Gold Vibrations wasn't stunning enough on its own, decided to add Glow For the Gold as an accent nail. It was just the right amount of shine to make this mani pop. I used one coat of Glow For the Gold over two coats of Gold Vibrations. In all honesty, you could wear Glow For the Gold on its own, but I like the layered look.

ReplyDeleteI seriously am not usually a gold fan, but this duo is crazy pretty. I can't even handle the thought of not having it for fall and Christmas manis (that I do even though I'm Atheist... don't judge me. lol)
