Summer isn't quite over yet, so let's take this time to enjoy some cool drinks and bright holos. Today I have three shades from Cupcake Polish's The Luau Collection to share with you. The Luau Collection consists of six holos that will help you get in the tropical island spirit!
The Tiki To My Heart
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Pink holo with pink micro flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I don't know if this was intentional or a result of the pigment used, but I love the red flare this shade gets indoors.
Be More Pacific
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Blue holo with blue micro flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I do agree that things should be more Pacific. I mean, look at that blue! I might be a little biased because the Pacific Ocean is my ocean, but I hope you guys see it too.
Here Today, Gone To Maui
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Green holo with green micro flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: It should come at no surprise that this is my favorite of the three. I wore this shade for several days using a peel off base coat + a regular base coat and experienced a significant amount of staining. I like this color enough that it's not a deal-breaker for me. Next time I will wear it over a white creme to prevent staining.
