One of the wonderful things about Cosmoprof and Cocktails & Colors is that you have the opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally run into. I had the pleasure of meeting Jacinta one evening at dinner when we got together with a bunch of indies. It was a nice, low-key way to get to know people beyond their brands. I'd be lying if I said that polish didn't come up once or twice, but the majority of the conversation was about everyday life.
Powder Perfect is a new-to-me brand, so I'm excited to share my first impressions with you guys. Today's shade is from the upcoming Egyptology Series Part III. The collection consists of ten shades inspired by Ancient Egypt.
Heka
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Deep purple holo-twist with purple & ultra holo glitters
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: The press release notes that Heka means magic in ancient Egyptian, and also refers to the god of magic. I personally adore this shade and all of that holo goodness.
The Egyptology Series Part III will be released on August 26th, 2016. The collection is limited edition, and will not be around forever. Each shade will retail for $13AUD/USD, or you can purchase them as a collection for $117 (a 10% savings). The collection will be listed in the shop linked below.
