Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Destination Duo featuring Firecracker Lacquer- Press sample

Can someone please explain to me how it's Wednesday already?! I feel like I am losing time or something. Ok not really, but I swear it feels like I blinked and ended up nearly in winter. It certainly is odd to wake up in complete darkness knowing that I have no choice but to haul myself out of bed. While that part of it may suck, I certainly don't regret doing it when I get to swatch beautiful colors like the ones I have to share with you today.

Today's post features the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Destination Duo featuring Firecracker Lacquer. The duo was inspired by a photo that Julie (BEGL) took at a Muse concert. I think you guys will be as amused (pun intended) with this colors as I am.

The duo consists of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Look to the Stars, Firecracker Lacquer A-muse-ing, and one package of sparkly iridescent gems. Let's check out the swatches!

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Look to the Stars

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Black scattered holo with blue and green micro flakies
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I may own a decent number of black polishes, but none of them have pretty flakies like the ones in Look to the Stars. 

Firecracker Lacquer A-muse-ing

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Bright blue with hot pink micro flakies, and pink and blue sparkles
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Flakies are my jam, and these twinkly pink ones do not disappoint! They go so well with the iridescent gems.

The Destination Duo will release Friday, October 28th at 3:30pm EDT. The duo is limited edition, so each shop will have 10 sets available. The duo is priced at $20 shipped domestically, or $20 plus a prorated shipping fee shipped internationally.
