Wax Wednesday feat. Candy Panda and Super Tarts

It's time for another Wax Wednesday! Today's post features Candy Panda and Super Tarts. There's no real theme to the scents melted here, it's just a random assortment of whatever sounded good at the time.
Candy Panda - Stargirl
Scent: Candy Fairy (a blend of bubblegum, cotton candy, sweet apples, and pears) + Marshmalloween (toasted marshmallows)
Cold sniff: A more marshmallow version of Snow Fairy
Throw: 1 out of 5. Could only smell when right next to warmer
Warmer used: AmbiEscents White Pumpkin - 25 watt lightbulb
Amount used: 1/2 of shot

Notes: I found this blend to be enjoyable, but the lack of throw really turned me off of this scent.
Candy Panda - Here Comes The Sun
Scent: Pink grapefruit & bergamot
Cold sniff: Bright grapefruit and light citrusy bergamot
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room
Warmer used: 20 watt wide dish hotplate

Notes: This was a pleasant, fresh scent that's perfect for summer. It's strong but doesn't smother the room (even on hot days).

Scent: Grape fizzy soda and fresh mint
Cold sniff: Heavy mint and grape
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room

Notes: I had to turn this one off because my husband hated the grape/mint combo. I melted the other half of this shot when he wasn't home and I quite enjoyed it.
Candy Panda - Black Hole Sun
Scent: Sweet Tarts & Marshmalloween (toasted marshmallows)
Cold sniff: Mellowed Sweet Tarts with rich marshmallows
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room

Notes: I really loved this scent, and would melt it regularly. I could see myself buying a whole loaf of it.
Candy Panda - Meet Me In The Woods
Scent: Marshmalloween (toasted marshamallow) + Are You Afraid of the Dark? (an eery dusty breeze around a late night bonfire)
Cold sniff: Toasted marshmallow, smoky bonfire, and a hint of leaves
Throw: 4 out of 5. Could smell everywhere but one room

Notes: I love outdoorsy scents like this. Melting Meet Me In The Woods made me want to go camping.
Super Tarts - Game of Tarts
Scent: Satsuma and sweet pineapple
Cold sniff: The satsuma is strong but is mellowed out with the sweet pineapple tang
Throw: 5 out of 5. Could smell throughout the house.

Notes: This was a nice scent but I'm not head over heels in love with it.
Super Tarts - The Lost Boys
Scent: Pomegranate, fresh apple cider, and toasted marshmallows
Cold sniff: A balance of pomegranate and spiced cider mellowed out with marshmallow
Throw: 5 out of 5. Could smell throughout the house.

Notes: I wasn't sure I was going to like this based on cold sniff, but I really enjoy it melted!
Super Tarts - Dumbledore
Scent: Apple slices, pink chiffon, and blue cotton candy
Cold sniff: Sweet apple, a note I'm not familiar with (probably pink chiffon) all mellowed out with sweet cotton candy
Throw: 5 out of 5. Could smell throughout the house.

Notes: I was a bit nervous about this one since I had no idea what pink chiffon smelled like, but I'm glad I took a chance on it.
Super Tarts - Galaxy City
Scent: Strawberry daiquiri, moscato, cassis, and sweet pomelo
Cold sniff: Sweet and tangy like a tropical daiquiri
Throw: 5 out of 5. Could smell throughout the house.
Warmer used: AmbiEscents Snowman - 25 watt lightbulb

Notes: While this scent was enjoyable it wasn't a must have for me. I could see myself getting tired of this quickly.
Super Tarts - Candy Bag
Scent: Cotton candy frosting, sweet tarts, watermelon jolly ranchers
Cold sniff: Cotton candy and watermelon jolly ranchers are the strongest scents
Throw: 2 out of 5. Could only smell it in one room and maybe the hallway

Notes: This smells really... odd to me in the package. It's only a bit better when melted.
Super Tarts - Who's A?
Scent: Blood orange, guava, fig, and ice cream scoop bread
Cold sniff: The dominant scent is ice cream scoop bread. You can kind of pick out the orange every once in a while
Throw: 3 out of 5. Could smell in half of the house

Notes: I really wanted to like this scent but it just wasn't a hit for me. I think it's too strong on the ice cream scoop bread and enough fruit comes through.

Scent: Biolage type, watermelon and a touch of sweet pineapple chunks
Cold sniff: Shampoo
Throw: 2 out of 5. Could only smell it in one room and maybe the hallway

Notes: This smells just fine but I don't really get anything beyond the Biolage scent.
Super Tarts - Dark Swan
Scent: Dark chocolate cocoa, whipped cream dusted with cinnamon
Cold sniff: This didn't really smell like cocoa or cinnamon to me. I couldn't pick out any distinct notes.
Throw: 2 out of 5. Could only smell it in one room and maybe the hallway

Notes: This had a surprisingly weak throw for a Super Tarts scent. The scent was just "ok" for me.
