Baroness X Tropic Heat Review
Wednesday, June 03, 2015Baroness X Tropic Heat Review- Press Sample
With all the neons out there it's easy to get lost in a sea of sameness. Baroness X is breaking the mold with her Tropic Heat collection. She took a different approach by creating neon jelly thermals packed with flakies.
Aphelandra
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Semi-gloss with flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This has a subtle shift from pink to coral.
Tayabak
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Semi-gloss with flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This looks more like a medium teal in person, but my camera refused to play nice. It shifts from teal to the lighter green you see above.
Maracaibo
Formula: Nice Consistency
Finish: Semi-gloss with flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: I can't get enough of this one! It has a super fast shift even with my unusually cold hands.
OrnithGoliath
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Semi-gloss with flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This was the other color that had a rapid shift. I really like how drastically different the colors are.
Imperial Fizzies
Scent: Peppermint
Use: A relaxing pedi soak treatment
Notes: My honey and I decided to put this to the test with a mini "spa day". We sprinkled about a tablespoon into hot water and soaked our feet for about 15 minutes. I don't like feet, so there won't be any of those photos, but our results are definitely worth talking about. I take good care of my feet, but they were noticeably softer after soaking. As for my honey's feet, it was like night and day.
Baroness X is releasing the Tropic Heat set in a unique way. You can choose between several different sets and a couple different price tiers. Be sure to check out her shop to learn about all the options.
