Maybe it's just me, but the weeks really seem to fly by this time of year. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy it's Friday, but I can't seem to figure out what happened to the rest of the week. I don't have any major plans for the weekend, but I'm pretty sure I need to rewatch The NeverEnding Story thanks to Rica.
Rica's NeverEnding Story collection consists of five polishes plus a sixth bonus polish if you buy the whole collection. Today I have the core five shades to share with you.
Fantasia
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Gray creme with purple shimmer, and iridescent flakes
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This magical shade transforms as the light hits it. At one angle it may look like a standard gray polish, while another angle gives you that gorgeous purple shimmer.
Falkor
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Creamy iridescent crelly packed with various sized iridescent glitter
Coverage: 3 coats, sheer
Notes: My photos show three coats, but I think this would look equally lovely over another color.
Atreyu
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Tan nude with gold to pink shimmer and copper glitter
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This is the perfect nude. It's work appropriate without being boring. At the right angle you can see the shimmer shift from gold to pink.
The Childlike Empress
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Light pink to cream shifting topper with iridescent flakes
Coverage: 2 coats over Sinful Colors Amethyst
Notes: This shade would look stunning over just about anything.
The Nothing
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Black jelly with gold, purple, blue, and green glitter
Coverage: 4 coats
Notes: This one is a little bit on the sheer side, so I found the coverage to be best with four thin coats.
Conclusion
I think the NeverEnding Story collection is a perfect representation of the movie. The formulas were nice to work with, and the shades are unique to everything else on the market.
