Happy Friday! I hope your week went well. Today I have a new-to-me indie I would like to share with you guys. I had the pleasure of meeting Joy of Joy Lacquer at Cocktails & Colors this year. Thanks to the event, I was given the opportunity to try a couple shades from her latest collection. Here are my swatches and thoughts on a couple of shades from Joy Lacquer's KinderQueen Collection.
Show And Teal Day
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Bright blue-green with blue sparks, a bright green to gold flash, and a light holo finish
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This shade was inspired by everyone's favorite day at school: show and tell day! This is one of those tricky shades to capture because there's a lot of different things going on. I feel like the single nail close up is the best way to see this polish.
Brand New Black Pack
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Black to gray scattered holo with a galactic finish.
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This intense thermal was inspired by a galaxy themed Jansport backpack. It happens to be my favorite shade of the two because of the black/gray/purple contrast.
