We are finally approaching October! That may seem silly, but I've been sitting on these swatches for longer than I'd like. I LOVE all things Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, so it was incredibly difficult to not post these swatches sooner. Morgan Taylor has really been on top of things, and their Dia de los Muertos collection is no exception.
The Morgan Taylor Dia de Los Muertos mini collection consists of four, 5mL shades to get you in the mood for all things spooky.
Shock Therapy
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Neon purple creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Shock Therapy is delightfully bright. Dark purples are usually common this time of year, so it's nice to see Morgan Taylor go against the norm this time.
All White Now
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: White creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: White cremes tend to have a difficult formula, but I found All White Now to have a smooth formula. It worked up to full coverage with just two coats. I will be hunting down a full sized bottle of this since good white cremes are hard to come by.
Glow In The Dark Top Coat
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Glow in the dark top coat
Coverage: 2 coats over All White Now
Notes: I tried this over all three cremes, but I was only able to get a decent glow when I wore it over white. The lack of glow could be that I was using artificial light to charge the polish. I believe this will work well over most light colors.
Little Black Dress
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Black creme
Coverage: 1 coat
Notes: This is a classic black creme. My photos show how glossy it is even without a top coat. I don't recommend ever wearing polish without a top coat, but shades like this sure make it tempting.
