I'm so incredibly hyped for Halloween October Halloween that I can't handle it right now. For nearly the entire month of October I will be doing my very best to bring you all things Halloween.
Today's post features Joy Lacquer's Halloween Trio. The trio was inspired by Joy's daughter's obsession with with Deadliest Predators on Netflix. After a decent amount of hard work, her daughter's Halloween costume took form. With a magnificent bald eagle as a daughter, Joy felt it would only be suiting to have a trio inspired by this dangerous predator.
This Many Treats Should be Ill-Eagle
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Black creme with gold sparkly shift
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I really enjoy the contrast between the different shimmers. It's far more interesting than your usual black creme.
Scary Stories to Talon the Dark
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Goldenrod to brown flakie thermal packed with copper chrome, rose, peach and gold flakies
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This is one of the more unique thermal shades I've seen. My bottom photo shows the two different states. The top two fingers are shown in a cold state, while the bottom two are warm.
Chick or Treat
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: White creme with black glitter, and purple and gold sparks
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This is one of those shades with sneaky shimmer. I feel like you can see it best in the bottle shot at the beginning of the post and in my final photo.
The Joy Lacquer Halloween Trio will be releasing on October 1st at. The individual shades will retail for $10 and $10.50, and the full sized trio retails for $30.
