Great Lakes Lacquer is celebrating their third anniversary with the Water Colors collection. This collection was inspired by summer fun that plays off things that can change the color of water. Part of the inspiration came from the color Great Lakes Lacquer logo.
Fading Day
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Bright pink leaning purple with copious amounts of shifting shimmer and scattered holo.
Coverage: 3 coats

Notes: The color shifting shimmer is my absolute favorite. I seriously can't resist it!
Bottom Shoals
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Aqua crelly with shifting shimmer and flake that shifts from copper red to gold to green and a bit of scattered holo pigment.
Coverage: 2 coats

Notes: This has the same shifting shimmer as Fading Day. Paired with the flakies, I can't think of anything better!
Sun Dappled
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Sunlit buttery yellow crelly with coppery red shifting shimmer and complementing flake with slight scattered holo.
Coverage: 3 coats

Notes: I'm not normally a yellow person, but I really enjoyed the soft finish. The iridescent flake definitely sold me on this one!
Shell Reflection
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Orange base with glowing shimmer shifting through blue to pink to purple, shifting flake and scattered holo.
Coverage: 3 coats

Notes: This leans more red-orange on my skin. I simply adore the shifting shimmer and flake in this one!
Moonlit
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Blue leaning periwinkle with blue to lavender shimmer, electric blue micro flake and glowing iridescent flake with a touch of scattered holo.
Coverage: 3 coats

Notes: Moonlit is my absolute favorite so I saved it for last. I love how this one just glows in all lighting. It's bright in bright light and more twinkly in low light.
The Great Lakes Lacquer Water Colors collection will be available at Polish Con for $58/set or $12 each. These will also be available online starting July 1st with online pricing set to $12.50 each or $60 for the set. July's "Bring It Back PPU" Glass On Fire, and the Polish Con colors will also be launching the same day.
