Accenting Your Home With Succulents with The Planted Pallet
Wednesday, October 15, 2014If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I am succulent obsessed. There's something rather endearing about a plant that thrives on neglect.
If you live in a colder state like Oregon, it's pretty difficult to find succulents that aren't of the "chicks & hens" variety. While cruising #succulent on Instagram I stumbled across a succulent shop called The Planted Pallet. Their arrangements are phenomenal, and feature one of a kind display pieces with a rustic, country chic style.
Madelynn and Sean (the owners) were kind enough to send over two wine cork magnets for me to review. They note in the description that if you have a particular succulent in mind you can request it, and they will do their best to meet your request. I mentioned that I love echeverias, and graptoveria, and they hooked me up with this beautiful graptoveria debbie as well as a cute crassula jade necklace plant.
They arrived elaborately wrapped and in excellent condition. I've received other succulents by mail, and these were the most securely wrapped by far.
Their business card notes that they should be watered once a week with drops. I've done just that, and they still look wonderful over a week later.
When I was photographing these I kept looking around the house for fun places to stick these. They started off on the fridge, but I decided they looked really nice on the inside of our garage door. It's a great way to make a boring, beige wall pop!
I was truly impressed with The Planted Pallet's customer service and product as a whole. If you are looking for a gorgeous, one of a kind table arrangement or a couple of cute magnets to spice up your fridge please check out The Planted Pallet across the web:
