Morgan Taylor Royal Temptations Collection
Wednesday, March 07, 2018Morgan Taylor Royal Temptations Collection - Press sample
I'm back with another pretty collection from Morgan Taylor. This one isn't packed with holo, but it does have quite a nice assortment for spring. Morgan Taylor recently released the Royal Temptations Collection. It's a seven piece collection that's sure to brighten up your spring!
My Other Wig Is A Tiara
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Sea foam metallic blue
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: This went on a bit streaky, but that's fairly common with metallics. If you wish to have a streak free finish, you can always sponge on the final coat of polish.
Ruffle Those Feathers
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Teal creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: Teals are such a great shade for spring. Ruffle Those Feathers is perfectly soft for this time of year.
All The Queen's Bling
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Purple pearl shimmer
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: All The Queen's Bling is a must have for me in this collection. I love the soft pearl finish!
All My Heart Desires
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Hot pink creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: I am obsessed with All My Heart Desires. I'm not a crazy pink person, but I appreciate certain pinks more than others. This one is a huge fave of mine!
Beauty Marks the Spot
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Coral creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: Beauty Marks the Spot is such a nice coral cream. This one leans more red, so it works quite well with my skin tone. I usually find myself avoiding corals that lean more orange, so I was delighted when I discovered this was just my shade!
Curls & Pearls
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Pale pink creme
Coverage: 2 coats
Price: $9
Notes: I love light nudes like Curls & Pearls. I have a feeling you will see a lot of this one in future nail art manis!
Over-the-Top Pop
Formula: A bit thin for heavy glitter
Finish: Lightly tinted pink glitter topper
Coverage: 1 coat
Price: $9
Notes: This is one coat over "My Other Wig is a Tiara", "Curls & Pearls", and "All The Queen's Bling" respectively. The shapes don't come out of the bottle without a bit of fishing. I found the best way to do this is to flip the bottle upside down for a minute to make sure the heavier glitters drift to the top of the bottle. Then, flip the bottle back over and quickly swirl the brush around to grab a couple of the large glitters at once and dab on to each desired nail.
